If you are having a problem with your MYOB Datafile just Contact us to see if we can help.  Our initial support is free for both Advisory and full MYOB User Group members. 

We may be able to simply advise you over the phone with simple steps to resolve the problem. If more technical support is required we may need you to send us your datafile for us to sort it out.

Our systems engineer is available for more complex problems.  Examples of fees we will charge are.

  • Admin Password Reset: £80
  • Clean MYOB Datafile of all transactions & values: £120
  • Repair Datafile: £200 


  • Advice on Upgrade Routes from MYOB

As Operating Systems evolve and time moves on, it becomes more important to be using a current form of Accounting software rather than MYOB.  We keep up-to-date with the alternatives available and offer advice to all our members on suitable upgrade routes. 

We advise all MYOB users on a Mac platform to move to Ledger One AccountEdge.

For PC MYOB users the decision has become more complex since Acclivity Accountedge is no longer available as a outright licence.

  • Help with Conversion to Acclivity AccountEdge

Many MYOB User Group members have converted from MYOB to the Canadian version of Priority AccountEdge.  This is an upgraded version of MYOB.  This software was formerly badged 'Acclivity' which was a management buyout of MYOB in the United States; this was subsequently sold to Priority, an ERP software house.  Priority AccountEdge now imposes a service charge for new customers.  For more information on Accountedge including a free testdrive see the Simple Accounting Website.

The MYOB User Group will convert existing datafiles to Priority Accountedge format for £150 each.  This includes a quick review of the datafile and assumes there are no major errors.

Buying the software is a bit tricky but can be done with persistence.  Test drive the software.  Check you are happy with it.  Then either:

Don't use the Priority chatbot - it can refuse to deal with you.

If you are an Accountedge user we advise you to stick with Accountedge 2021 and earlier versions. Later versions attract a subscription charge which might be tricky to aarrange.
