One way would be to use Reports - Accounts - Standard Balance Sheet - Customise Date and Level - Display.
If you use Level 4 you can drill down further with the magnifying glass over the figure in the line item.

There may be other options available.

    Hope this is helpful.

There is also a stock reconciliation report which lists all the stock lines and their values as of a particular date.  Look under 'stock' under 'index to reports'.

I'm trying to start a new company file using MYOB AccountEdge Plus 2008 (v8) on a Mac. I've gone through the process of entering balances etc, but when I click to activate the Command Centre screen is blank. I've opted to verify later (as per a trial user) rather than online (when I try online, the communication bar just hangs forever .. or until I force quit). Any ideas gratefully received .. Robin

ps: I'm wondering whether installing the new Mamut version for a trial period - which I did some months ago in the interest of getting my accounts up to date - has somehow sabotaged my old AccountEdge Plus software. Is that a possibility?

Does anyone know if there is an easy way of increasing all our current prices by 5%? Last time we increased our prices 6 years ago we had to change them all manually. You can easily increase the last cost and average cost, but not the current price?

It would save us a lot of hassle if someone knows how to get round this.

    Thanks!

    Hi Peter,
I seem to recall seeing this problem discussed on a forum somewhere (damned if I can find it now) I believe someone suggested exporting sales to a spreadsheet (excel) and increasing the prices using that software, then importing the uplifted prices back into MYOB. Not tried it myself, but I believe it could work. If you do try it make a backup first!!!!
    Regards,
    Graham.

EDIT: found it: Pricing lots of items in one hit

    Hi there

We moved our company to France 3 years ago. After a brief but truly disasterous encounter with Sage France we have gone back to using our old and trusted friend MYOB - for invoicing and stock control.  Each month we export invoices and stock purchases to excel spreadsheets for the French accountant.

My questions are : is it possible to create a new file with only our card file, stock items . . . . and inventory.
If so how do I do it?

Thanks in advance for any help

    Hi Graham,

thanks for the reply. We tried exporting the data into excel and then importing it back into MYOB but we couldn't get it to work.

    Thanks anyway,

    Pete
